Already at the beginning of the development of the Clogs Octo, from the house of Delphin, the focus was on the development of a unique design that meets the requirements of anglers for maximum functionality and maximum comfort when wearing, not only during fishing, but also in everyday life.

Due to the fact that you often have to walk on uneven terrain when fishing, the focus was placed on the sole during production. The sole of the Clogs Octo is accordingly, compared to cheaper competitor models, significantly stronger and more massive. This guarantees that walking in these clogs is as comfortable as possible and uneven terrain is filtered out almost perfectly.

Let's stay with the sole for a while. This is where the story of the name Oto begins. We have stylized it in the form of octopus tentacle suction cups, which guarantees excellent grip in almost all conditions.

Another sophisticated feature is the large side openings that provide ventilation and overall airiness in these shoes. However, they are not, as usual with such shoes, designed at the height of the sole, but slightly higher. This detail plays an important role during a stay on the shore or in shallow water. Because the holes are slightly higher than the insole, the unwanted shoveling of sand or stones between the sole and your foot is almost impossible. So your feet are largely protected.

In addition to these openings, a thick perforation, which is located in the upper part, also serves for ventilation. On the one hand, it is deliberately shaped into the D symbol from the Delphin logo and on the other hand into the O symbol, which is supposed to represent the first letter of the name Octo.

But the design, which is very much based on an octopus, is brought even more to the fore by the fine structure on the surface of the shoes, which is reminiscent of the skin of an octopus.

Thanks to the EVA material used, however, the shoes are also extremely light, robust and even buoyant. This model also has a heel strap, which you will appreciate especially on uneven or sloping terrain.

However, due to their EVA material, you should be careful not to put these shoes on hot stones, a sunny place or concrete and leave them for longer. In such places, it can happen that the temperature rises to up to 50 degrees Celsius and there are subtle shape changes in the shoes. This, of course, doesn't happen while you're wearing them.
